The OLA offers benefits for members both during and after their time at the School. The Association is the means by which all Old Lyonians can maintain their link with the School and with each other around the world. Members have access to an extensive network of Old Lyonians, with social and business contacts here and abroad. On payment of the termly subscription, all members of the School are entitled to become members of the Association. Non-members may always join by making a single payment equivalent to the life subscription at the time.
Careers help and advice We now have a substantial number of Old Lyonians employed in a wide variety of occupations who are very keen to help those currently studying at JLS in terms of advice, attending careers evenings and occasionally offering work shadowing. The School will use this network to develop work experience placements and gap year opportunities for leavers. There are Old Lyonian clubs and societies for Association football, cricket, golf, archery, petanque, badminton, tennis and drama. Contact details for several of these are provided on this website. Where they are not provided, please contact the OLA office for further details.
