100th OLA Dinner, Friday March 30th 2012

THE 100th OLD LYONIAN ASSOCIATION ANNUAL DINNER

Shepherd Churchill Hall, Harrow School

Friday, March 30th 2012 at 7 for 7.30 p.m.

 

We very much hope you can join us for this 100th Old Lyonian Dinner. Please send through your application in good time. The closing date for applications and meal orders is WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14th.

Special Guests:

We shall be inviting back as our special guests some former John Lyon teachers. Details to follow by email.

Seating Plan:

Each table seats 8 people. Please either detail who you would like to sit with, or insert the notional year you left. That is the year you would have left if you had continued through to the upper Sixth - which perhaps you did! It enables us to seat you with your contemporaries irrespective of when you actually left school.

Ordering your meal:

Please indicate on your order form the combination of courses you want. Please note that the ‘B' options are vegetarian. Last minute changes will, unfortunately, not be possible.

If you are putting in an order for several people, please be aware that we need details of each participant's meal requirements.

Drinks:

A pre-dinner cash bar (no tabs) will be available. A choice of good quality wines at £10 a bottle will be on sale at the bar, as will fruit juices and sparkling water.

Deadline:

Wednesday, March 14th is the absolute deadline set by Harrow School. Please send in your application, including your meal requirement, well in advance of that date. N.B. I am away from March 6th - 10th.

Fillet of Sea Trout on Cauliflower Cream with a fresh herb and pea dressing.

B1.

Baby Spinach and Avocado Salad with Grilled Brie and mustard dressing.

Main Course

A2.

Roasted Lamb Fillet with claret, redcurrants and caramelised baby onions. Served with sugar snap peas, roasted peppers and roast potatoes.

B2.

Filo Pastry Parcels filled with wild mushrooms, leeks, and a tomato and basil sauce. Served with sugar snap peas, roasted peppers and roast potatoes.

Lemon Tart with blueberries and clotted cream.

B3.

Fresh Seasonal Fruit Salad.
