Old Lyonian Medical Society

Announcing the Launch of the Old Lyonian Medical Society (for all doctors, dentists and veterinarians)

In December 2007, a very successful inaugural Dinner was held in London at the Royal Society of Medicine to launch the start of the Old Lyonian Medical Society. It was attended by 8 former John Lyon Students who have gone on to make a mark for themselves as doctors in a variety of specialist fields. The school was represented by Mr Roger French (Biology Tutor) and Mr Brian Holgate (Former Physics Tutor).

The purpose of the Society is to bring together those working in Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science who may wish to meet in a social setting to discuss developments in their given area, to build and extend their network of colleagues and, if they choose, to contribute to careers talks and /or give advice to JLS students who show interest in joining the profession.

So, calling all Doctors, Dentists and Veterinarians. If you are interested in joining the Old Lyonian Medical Society, please contact us on 020 8427 5966 or ola@johnlyon.org
