East India Club
St James's Square
London
J7 Membership Scheme
Established in the middle of the 19th century, its original members were servants of the East India Company and commissioned officers of Her Majesty's Army and Navy. Since then, the club has amalgamated with other clubs including the Devonshire, the Sports, the Public Schools and welcomed members of the original Eccentric Club of St James's.
The club has extensive facilities to include dining rooms, bars, gymnasium, snooker room, library, drawing rooms, meeting rooms and 67 bedrooms.
John Lyon School is an HMC School and therefore any graduating student once they have attained the age of 18 can apply to join a Senior Gentleman's Club under the J7 Membership Scheme. Applications must be made within 18 months of leaving the School and be accompanied with a letter of support of the application from Miss Haynes, Head of the John Lyon School.
Please contact lyonianassociation@johnlyon.org for further information or visit the East India Club website.
