New "decades on" reunion event

The Lyonian Association is launching a new event to get Old Lyonians together to celebrate joint "decades on" anniversaries, for those leaving John Lyon School 20, 30 and 40 years ago.

After the Class of 1989's very successful 30 years on reunion at the OLA dinner, there was a little FOMO (fear of missing out) amongst some other years!  In particular, the Class of 1988 felt they could muster a good crowd and the Class of 1999 also thought they could gather many friends together for a reunion.  So we have decided to run a new joint event for "decades on" reunions.  Because 1978 and 1998 leavers have also not celebrated 40 & 20 years on, respectively (we are running a little behind), we will run a joint event for the 2018 years as well as 2019 together, see all years below.  Finally, because they were great company and we wouldn't want them to miss out, we're inviting 1989 leavers to come back again!

Date: 31st January 2020
Time: Starts at 6:30pm with tours of the School, drinks and dinner from 7.30pm

If you would like to help by gathering your year together, please email suzannah.chirnside@johnlyon.org

For those celebrating decades on in 2020, no need for FOMO, we will run another reunion for you later in the year!
