Remembrance |
Des had been suffering from Parkinson’s/Dementia for many years. He played football for the old boys in the 1960’s which he remembered as great fun. Des’s wife, Julia Harris shared the following message:
‘Would you kindly let the Class of 1959 that Des died on 20th November 2022. He had a good life up until about 4 years ago. We have a son and two grandchildren and was the most kind and wonderful man very much missed by his family and many friends.’
Des attended John Lyon School from 1952-1957 and during his time at the School he was a keen golfer, and played tennis too.
