Reunions |
The evening started with some prompt arrivals starting from 6.20pm! I suspect not wanting to be too late for fear of missing out!
Drinks were served in the Refectory, something none of the OLs recognised as this was refurbished after they had left.
Once we have a few gathered our Head Boy team, and Adam Ling, took small groups for a quick tour around the School. Lots of memories were triggered and lots of laughter echoed the empty School halls!
Sarah and the catering team put on a delicious indian buffet dinner in the new memorial dining hall, where many did go back for seconds and thirds! OLs were impressed to see this new space that was once the library 10 years ago.. some were even surpised to see their names on the Sixth Form Scholars Board!
We managed to capture a group photo before the group set off down the road to the White Horse, and then Salt Bar. The evening appeared to have ended in the early hours of the morning!
I think all in all everyone had a brilliant time and thoroughly enjoyed being back at School as well as seeing lots of familiar faces!
If you would like to organise a reunion for your year group or get in touch with old friends, the Lyonian Office can help. Please get in touch.
