The STEAM club Year 8 pupils have just opened up the latest order of VEX robotics kits, ready to assemble in preparation for the competition 'pitching in' for 2021-2022. This involves a combination of both driving the robots and also coding the robots to complete tasks. Thank you to all our generous 1876 Fund donors who have enabled the School to go above and beyond for the pupils, we are most grateful for all your support.
As we continue to grow our STEAM curriculum, (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) with the support of the 1876 Fund we will now be able to offer key stage 2, 3 and 4 the full kit for Robotics to be used during lessons. This enables the STEAM department to develop a framework for the learning of Robotics for all Lower School pupils.
